David and Margaret Douthat have over three decades of insurance experience. We are honored to serve our clients throughout the states of Tennessee, Virginia, and North Carolina for their Medicare and personal Health Insurance needs.
We offer our clients the opportunity to learn, explore and enroll in a pressure-free environment. We not only want to be Your agent but Your friend. We are dedicated to serving you from day one by helping you navigate the enrollment process and explaining confusing terms so you can focus on receiving the care and coverage you need.
We live in the Kingsport community that we love and enjoy serving our local residents but also those living in our surrounding area, throughout our state and those in our neighboring states. We are involved with and support many of our local community resource programs.

Office ManagerHello, my name is Conner Evans, and I am the Office Manager at Douthat Insurance. I’m here to assist you with your insurance needs and help ensure our office runs smoothly and efficiently so that we can provide you with the best possible service. When I’m not at Douthat Insurance, you can usually find me at crossfit, or on the golf course with my husband, Kolby. I’m grateful for the opportunity to work with our clients and be a part of the Douthat Insurance team!

Hi, my name is Brianna McMurray, and I’m a Customer Service Representative at Douthat Insurance. I enjoy getting to know our clients and being someone they can count on when they need help with their insurance needs. I love being part of a team that truly cares about the people we serve. Outside of work, I am usually busy keeping up with my four boys and their sports activities. I love spending time with my family, making memories, and enjoying the little moments together. I’m excited to be part of the Douthat Insurance team and look forward to helping our clients in any way I can!

When I’m not at the office, you can usually find me on the volleyball court coaching my daughter and our team or spending quality time with my family. I’m grateful to be part of a team that truly cares about our clients and is committed to making sure they feel valued and taken care of.
